“John McCain wants to stay in Iraq for 100 years. He’s said it, and it’s on tape.” — DNC Chairman Howard Dean
April 27th, 2008John McCain wants to stay in Iraq for 100 years. He’s said it, and it’s on tape. But his campaign hates that he was caught. They’ve viciously attacked anyone who reminded the American people that he said it, including me. They’ve said that those who reference the 100 years comments are “deliberately misleading voters.” — DNC Chairman Howard Dean

I like how all the liberals are doing this. What McCain said that he wanted to stay In Iraq like we have stayed in Germany, Korea, and Japan.
Bunch of crazy liberals.

Poor liberals, it’s all they have to cling to. When you are as unoriginal as these clowns you have to trump up the smallest details so you have something on the Republicans. No wonder their party and their candidates are in shambles!

It is a shame that Mr. Dean made the above comment. It is clear in the original response by Senator McCain that he wasn’t saying 100 years of “war.” However, he feels that it is ok to twist the statement in order to score a cheap political blip on the radar. And Dean is not alone in this practice. Politicians from both ends of the aisle make similar states during the year, and they should all be called on the carpet for it.

If you want to post some hilarious quotes why not just publish everything that George Bush says. There won’t be any complete sentences or anything that makes sense . . . and it would be funny if it weren’t for the fact that he has led this country right to the bottom of the outhouse.

Blue Stem,
I’d probably agree with some of your examples of off-the-wall comments by the President - well, I would if you had provided any, rather than simply spewing that tired old “GW is dumb, GW is evil, etc” non-argument.
There are things President Bush has done and said that I think are admirable, and there are other words and actions that I thought were enormous blunders. Pretty much the same as I felt about Clinton back in his day.
I’m glad however, if my humble site did allow you to release some of that venom. Knowing I was of some service to my fellow man, really made my day. You’re welcome to come back anytime you feel the need to let go of some of that hatred boiling up in you. It’s the least I can do.
